about

This recording is the first release for Jane Sage. A collection of songs new and old. Solid song writing and an outstanding rhythm section drive this record from start to finish.....

It's a mix of folk and rock with a hint of blues and country thrown in. Sometimes pop, sometimes not. Emotive melodies and earnest lyrics delivered by the voice that is unmistakably Jane.

Growing up in the small coastal town of Moruya on the far south coast of NSW, Jane was influenced by sing alongs around the campfire as a small child and developed a passion for singing and songwriting at an early age. Jane quickly developed her own self taught and original style that can be generally described as acoustic folk rock, but take a listen and decide for yourself where you think this artist fits in the musical spectrum. Debut album - Worlds Apart - available now.
